(Intel Comparative Microprocessor Performance index) индекс iCOMP
индекс относительной производительности процессоров Intel. Введён в 1992 г. Для его определения используется смесь 16-и 32-разрядных целочисленных операций, команд с плавающей запятой, обработки графики и видео. В качестве базового взят процессор i486SX-25, индекс производительности которого принят за 100 единиц. Текущая версия (2006 г.) - iCOMP Index 2.0, представляет взвешенное среднее результатов четырёх стандартных для промышленности эталонных тестов производительности 32-разрядных процессоров: CPUmark32, Norton Utilities SI32, SPEC's CINT95/CFP95 и Intel Media Benchmark. Выбор этих тестов обусловлен тем, что они позволяют определить количественные показатели процессоров с учётом конкретных особенностей архитектуры Intel и содержат смеси функций и задач, типичные для большинства приложений
